Who we are
Biteperk Pty Ltd ("Biteperk", "we", "us") is an Australian company based in Sydney. We build voice and AI tools for hospitality. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit https://biteperk.com.au or use one of our products.
What we collect
When you contact us through the website, we collect the name, email, venue and message you provide, plus — if you arrived from a campaign link — the campaign details attached to that enquiry.
For the website itself we use privacy-first, cookieless analytics and, only if you opt in, a LinkedIn marketing tag. Nothing non-essential runs until you choose Accept; you can change or withdraw your choice any time from Cookie settings in the footer. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
When you use VoxTable, our product collects the audio and metadata necessary to take the booking — phone number, requested time, party size, and the conversation itself. We keep audio only as long as needed to confirm the booking and resolve any disputes, then delete it.
Where data lives
Customer data is stored in Australia. We use cloud providers (such as Google Cloud and Firebase) with data residency configured to Australian regions. We do not transfer call recordings outside Australia.
How we use it
We use the information you give us to reply to you, to operate the products you've chosen, and to improve them. We do not sell information. We do not share it with advertisers. We never use customer conversations to train models outside Biteperk.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your information. Email hello@biteperk.com.au and we'll respond within 30 days — usually much sooner.
Security
We use industry-standard practices: encrypted transit, encrypted storage, least-privilege access, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfect; if you spot a problem, please email us before posting it publicly so we can fix it quickly.
Updates
We'll update this policy as the business changes. Material changes will be noted at the top with a new "last updated" date.
